The proposal draws a clear distinction between old and new through material and form. The first-floor extension is designed to sit seamlessly within the existing fabric, using matching brickwork and subtle render to harmonise with the original architecture. In contrast, the ground floor extension is treated with restraint and modernity- robust in form but light in expression.

A crisp brick palette, articulated with Flemish bond and delicate brick returns, creates rhythm and hierarchy at key junctions- entrances, thresholds, and sills.
