The original house layout is enhanced by expanding the main kitchen, transforming it into a generous, light-filled communal hub where the entire family can gather, cook, and spend time together.

Beyond the shared central spaces, the extension provides the parents with their own complete, private suite. This dedicated wing features a full independent living and dining area with its own integrated kitchen, an inviting bedroom with broad garden views, ensuite bathroom and a combined utility room for added convenience. Every detail is crafted to ensure safety, comfort, and independent day-to-day living while keeping loved ones close at hand.

Navigating and overcoming complex site-specific flood risk challenges was central to bringing the vision to life. Through innovative design and resilient structural solutions, these environmental obstacles were entirely resolved without compromising step-free accessibility.
