A Master Suite Upgrade
This project involves a comprehensive internal reconfiguration and rear dormer loft conversion to transform a traditional terraced property into a light-filled, functional space tailored for modern living. By expanding into the roof space, the scheme introduces a generous master suite complete with an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, dedicated eaves storage, and a Juliet balcony featuring full-height glazing. Strategic skylights further illuminate the new upper level, ensuring the attic feels bright and spacious while carefully balancing rafter heights and ceiling levels to maximize usable headroom.
On the ground floor, the existing layout is redesigned to create an expansive, open-plan kitchen and dining area positioned as the home's primary social hub. French doors open directly onto the rear garden, establishing a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces and bathing the dining area in natural light. Designed with sensitive regard for the property's original proportions and the client's budget, the overall scheme delivers enhanced accessibility, practical storage solutions, and a refined living environment built to endure for years to come.
